Today I joined nine (9) other Kitsap Climbers on a snowshoeing trek through the Olympic Mountain's Buckhorn Wilderness. We proceeded alongside Tunnel Creek, climbing past a frozen alpine lake (Harrison), up through 5050 Pass, to the top of Noname Peak (5345'). It was a fine day.
Shown below are some of my favorite pictures taken during.

Hurricane Hill - Olympic National Park (WA)
After 27 straight days of rain here in the Puget Sound, I headed to the hills today, specifically Hurricane Hill, for backcountry wilderness snowshoeing. The weather and snow were great. Here are some of my favorite pictures, all were taken from the route between the Visitor Center and the top of Hurricane Hill.
